One of the best hotels I've been to in Canada. The service here is spectacular. All of the staff are super friendly and the rooms are wonderful. I have nothing at all bad to say about this place. If you are stopping in Athabasca, come here. Things I loved: They have a pool with a hot tub and a freakin awesome water slide with lights the breakfast is absolutely unreal -- utterly delicious, they have a refreshment stand with coffee juice and cookies available at all times, the dining area is huge and clean, they go around in the afternoon knocking on your door to give complimentary chocolate bars, the concierge is the friendliest guy I've ever met, there's an A&W attached to the building, the gym is actually pretty nice, they have a laundry room. This place is down right awesome.
Nice room. Breakfast ok. Manager needs to hire some help. Breakfast was running out with people waiting to eat.
Rooms were spacious modern and clean. Many conveniences. Breakfast until 9 was great. Coffee tea cookies water available 24 hours. Was a very easy stay
It was a fairly standard room for a Super 8, but the staff were very helpful, and the attached A&W was handy. Also, how can you go wrong with a hotel with a waterslide?
Super 8/ Athabasca is a clean comfortable hotel. Rooms are clean, beds are cozy and the service is above and beyond. They have a hot breakfast that's included in your room, good Internet connection, gym, swimming pool and hot tub. I stay here for extended periods of time due to work in the area. I highly recommend Super 8. I believe their one of the better hotels in Athabasca because of the comfort and services they provide.
